Ventura says on Larry King that he won't run for Senate
... although he claims he's outpolling Franken.

1. He said he wasn't running last Friday on Sam Greenfield's radio interview.

2. So apparantly nothing's changed
He did mention several times that he has until 5PM to decide for certain.

3. He also said:
unless God in Person tells him to before tomorrow!
He does have a sense of humor!

4. maybe he could move to California and run for governor
Him and Schwartzenegger have a history; how about they settle a governor's election by wrestling for the governorship?

5. Oh, puleeze no Jesse Ventura for our governor after Ahnold. Our state
can't take anymore posturing muscle headed men in high office.

6. Watching that interview, I was left suspecting that he will....
change his mind before 5pm. I'm sure that his wife is lobbying against him running, though.

Ventura could almost get away with being Governor, because he was the big-mouth figurehead who let other people run things. However, that would be more difficult to do as a Senator.

The one thing I do like about Jesse is his refusal to pander to religious types. Separation of Church and State!
