5. And then there's Ted Rall's take:

Wanna know what's funny -- I found these Rall cartoons posted by DUers without comment. "But I support Obama."

6. ALERT! ALERT! Comics and sentiments that don't paint Obama as the messiah!!!!!
I'm Disgusted! How dare anyone on a democratic board mention that the candidate is not a liberal, and even question his wisdom in voting for FISA?!?!

The nerve!

Personally, I will be 100% behind Obama when he builds a bridge by slashing income taxes on the rich to replace them with Steve Forbes' "Fair Tax".

And won't things be peachy when he replaces public education with vouchers for private schools and the safety net with faith-based "solutions"?

:sarcasm:

8. Where's the outrage?!
Tomorrow's comix are obviously satire, but how can we expect Jethro B. Redneck to understand that? Afterall, Jethro and his ilk are soooo stupid that over ELEVENTY HUNDRED MILLION of his brothers, sisters, and cousins voted for *! They're going to simply WALK past a newsstand that has his comix for sale and absorb this by osmosis!

Any contact information for Tom Tomorrow so I can tell him how angry I am for his portraying Obama in a way that Jethro will CERTAINLY assume is true and real?

And by the way, we're getting together at my house tonight to burn T.T.'s comix just for fun! We're going to STOP THIS MADNESS!

12. Oh I didn't even try. I'm just sick over this.
I'm wondering if it's time to put an end to freedom of speech in the press.

Bastards.

13. It's disgusting
This reckless creation of new words requires us to make English the national language. It's time.

15. It's almost as if TT is accusing U.S. of projection.
But since projection is solely a Republic trait, that's not possible.

Fight for the Obama Presidency kids, but don't forget: We've got the opportunity and an obligation to fix both houses of Congress too. There is no better time than now, while the political machine is (seemingly) distracted and gnashing it's teeth over the thought of an Obama Presidency. The Republicans have little cash and haven't been this widely vulnerable since Watergate.

We can't allow the race for the WH to serve as a distraction from the other, very important races. If we don't gain enough seats in the House and Senate, there's little chance the political culture in Washington will change. We can't afford to hand it to the RNC, DLC, Blue Dogs and other corporatists again. Not without a hell of a fight.

16. He missed the Obama booster who admits voting for W in 2000 and 2004
(ex?) Republican: "Anything I say or do is now "progressive"; I'm voting for Obama! Now Obama better continue to move to the right to appease me and all my "progressive" (ex?) Republican friends!"
