Bush on gas prices: ‘Where are they now?’
from ThinkProgress:

Bush on gas prices: ‘Where are they now?’»

In February, when President Bush was asked what his “advice” would be to the average American who is “facing the prospect of $4 a gallon gasoline,” he replied, “That’s interesting, I hadn’t heard that.” At a press conference this morning, a reporter followed up and asked the president about his previous comments in light of nationwide average gas prices hovering well above $4/gallon. Apparently unaware of current gas prices, Bush blurted out, “Where are they now?” Watch it: http://thinkprogress.org/2008/07/15/bush-on-gas-prices-where-are-they-now/

UPDATE: Also in today’s briefing, Bush acknowledged that offshore oil drilling won’t produce more barrels of oil anytime soon, but he added, “It is going to change the psychology.” Watch it: http://thinkprogress.org/2008/07/15/bush-on-gas-prices-where-are-they-now/

3. hasn't this jerk shown the American people how much disdain
he has for us, doesn't this bother anyone, when he doesn't even know how much Americans are paying for gas, shows his clear ignorance for us.

4. Idiot. Why would anyone expect anything more from this disgrace?
Bush knows nothing. He lives in a bubble, and will never want for anything.

He needs to be put in prison for his crimes, and spend the rest of his life with a number on his jumpsuit.

6. Un- effffffing -believable. Some semblance of logic would say
that he would at least know the price of gasoline, the single most enraging thing to "his" subjects, before he showed his stupid petulant face.

Also: To do the ultimately useless drilling in order to "change the psychology" and ADMIT IT - is so beyond the pale words have not been invented for this in any language.
I am furious at this stupid man trotting himself out and go in front of a microphone to verbally shimmy around subjects he has power to manipulate, but not the grey matter to understand.

At least they split the screen with him and Bernanke talking, for a long long time. At no time was the sound on for Bush. Only Bernanke.
The predictable verbal repetitive "let me finish" garbage from Bush was synopsized on the crawler, while he stood there speaking with no sound...

That was a very nice touch by MSNBC, one I appreciated for it's humor and the slap in the face it was to Mr. Bush.

8. Impeachment is too good for this fucking idiot*...
by impeaching someone it assumes that the person being impeached had willful intent to do something illegal.

moron* hasn't the capacity for independent thought.

I rubber room would be more apt for this fucking drooling moron*.
