BWAHA!! As if! from DFA e-mail - Joe Liebermann (sic) can still make the right decision

One man is still standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the Pastor who preaches Hitler was only doing God's bidding... none other then Senator Joe Lieberman.

One week from today, Pastor Hagee will lead thousands of followers to Washington for an "Israel Summit" sponsored by "Christians United for Israel". And guess who is scheduled to deliver the keynote address? That's right, it's Sen. Lieberman.

Joe knows what Hagee is all about. Pastor Hagee's greatest hits include gems like:
On Muslims: "All Muslims have a mandate to kill Christians and Jews."¹
On Hurricane Katrina: "I believe that New Orleans had a level of sin that was offensive to God and they were recipients of the judgment of God for that."²
On women: "Do you know the difference between a terrorist and a woman with PMS? You can negotiate with a terrorist."³
That's why Democracy for America joined forces with J Street, the political arm of the pro-Israel, pro-peace movement to call on Sen. Lieberman to do the right thing.

Sen. Lieberman should know better. U.S. Senators must stand up against religious extremists, not stand with them. I guess there really are no surprises left when it comes to Joe.
