Today

Earlier today, Pres. Bush vetoed a bill preventing cuts to Medicare doctor fees.

The House is now debating an override of the veto, and will hold a second vote on the bill shortly.

Also this afternoon, members are expected to debate Rep. Dennis Kucinich's (D-OH) motion to impeach Pres. Bush.

4. I hope there is a veto proof override.

As a senior citizen dependent on Medicare, I and the majority of Seniors who aren't filthy rich, depend on it. To take this medical protection from us in the stage of our lives that we are most vulnerable to pain and end stage diseases is really inhumane. Of course multi-millionaires like Bush and Cheney have no idea what that it's like.
