5. As I have shared with some locals

When a politician running for public office tells me he/she has christian conservative family values what I hear is that they think I'm an idiot very easily duped into voting for them. My Congressman is a blue dog democrat, a Coast Guard Veteran and a man who does not try to shove his religion or his "values" down my throat. He's not my kinda democrat but compared to republicans who have run against him (and gotten their asses kicked) he is a flaming Jane Fonda Liberal.
