Has anyone else been noticing the "Freepathon" when lurking at FR?

It started at the beginning of July, and they're only 1/3 of the way to their quartely fundraising goal. At this rate, they won't top out until September. I'd hate to think the Conservative movement was losing its enegry; they must just be tapped out from all those NRCC and McCain contrbutions...

2. How many registered members do they have, and has it gone down

this year? I never go there, so I have no idea if they show that kind of info, but it would be an interesting indicator of how many have just given up!

But why do they need approx. 285K to run the site?? That format can't be expensive to run, and I'm sure JimRob gets disability so it isn't for his salary. They hate McCain (too liberal) so he's not intruding on the $$.
