he's guilty! Why wasn't he worried that a plane would be targeting him there at that school from the Saratoga airport 5 minutes away, if it was indeed an unexpected attack? He was there for 30 more minutes IIRC. :grr:

If it was a surprise attack. How'd they know they'd be safe for the next half hour.
Maybe it had something to do with members of Bush's cabinet writing this,
"The process of transformation, even if it brings revolutionary change, is likely to be a long one, absent some catastrophic and catalyzing event - like a new Pearl Harbor. " and http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6618076520601759159&q=daniel+hopsicker+symposium&ei=s9hqSIPcGYyYrAKs1oXaDA&hl=en">knowing exactly what the highjackers were going to do.

48. It all starts there.
None of the facts to emerge afterwards are in line with the official conspiracy theory.

We do not have to prove what did happen to understand we are being told a lie.

That leaves us with a government so deceitful that it would lie a nation into war, killing so many it doesn't bother to count them. And that is the greatest bipartisan accomplishment of the administration.

Pass the chips and beer, the game is on ESPN.

11. That video was released much later than that day (months later)
What we did see was Bush reading a one or two line note to announce the towers had been hit and then taking off. We saw absolutely nothing of him for the rest of the day, as we saw nothing from anyone in the White House. What we saw was Rudy Guiliani running around NY and giving up press conferences and releases all day. Lot's of people have criticized him for that but I remember being very relieved to hear the latest updates.

Then we found out that Bush arrived at the White House about 7 pm and that he went to bed at his regular time. I don't remember when the next time we saw anyone from the White House was. But Rudy kept up the press conferences for days on end.

Much later, Bush gave an interview to some German newspaper while he was in Germany and the journalist asked him where he was all day on 9/11. Bush's answer was that he was "getting out of harms way".

We're lucky the video tape of him sitting like the class dunce, looking guilty and unperturbed at the same timed came out. Someone got to it before the Secret Service or the FBI got the chance. Otherwise we wouldn't be any the wiser today.

One of those wonderful holdovers from PTSD. I hadn't had one in almost five years but I did that night. I hate those because they're a combination of a nightmare and sleepwalking. Well, sleepwalking isn't quite right, sleeprunning is more like it. At least I didn't break my foot that time, but I certainly didn't sleep well that night.

26. Thanks for this, Aviation Pro...
...I remember watching this video when it came out, and it was so damned obvious that his reaction was just... off. It was not how any normal person would have reacted, not even a puppet president, if they did not have some inside knowledge about what was going on. The very best spin you can put on it is criminal dereliction of duty: he was obliged to take command and he did not do so.

Oh you can laugh and say that's the last thing we needed, then or now. Hard to disagree. But the fact remains, there is a defined chain of command, and the CIC is at the top. He had the ultimate responsibility for the nation's defense that morning and he did nothing except waste 30 minutes and then high-tail it out of there, not to be heard from again for another day and a half or more...

He and the rest of the cabal are guilty as sin, and I pray that the truth will one day come out. It may be the single thing that could make Americans mad enough to take action against this lot: if we knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that our highest officials perpetrated this act, there would be hell to pay.

BTW I do recognize that there is a possibility -- however slight -- that it was not MIHOP. That is why we would need proof positive before doing anything about it. All I want is the truth.

30. Bush Knew.
There he is, just told a second plane has been hijacked and flown into the World Trade Center, a half hour after he’s been informed that a plane was hijacked and flown into the World Trade Center. He doesn’t even wink when Andy Card tells him, “America is under attack,” let alone scramble the Air Force.

At BEST, this shows criminal dereliction of duty. Most LIKELY, it shows treason.

Plot to assassinate Bush – reports

Ashcroft Flying High

Why would Osama bin Laden want to kill Dubya, his former business partner?

Genoa braces for G8 summit

Here’s more on the warnings the administration received BEFORE SEPTEMBER 11, 2001:

Rice More Sordid Than Foley

On her recommendation, Tenet briefed Ashcroft and Rumsfeld (not Powell, though).

Rumsfeld, Ashcroft said to have received warning of attack

An exasperated Tenet then ordered an underling to brief Monkey in Crawford in August.

While Bush vacationed, 9/11 warnings went unheard.

Here’s what seals the deal for me:

Bin Laden determined to strike in US

Then, he turned around and said to the CIA briefer:

"All right. You've covered your ass now."

The crazy monkey IS a traitor.

35. Actually, the President was whisked away to an undisclosed and secure location immediately
and was directing things from there (granted, he seemed to be directing them in such a way as to insure maximum damage).

The elephant in the room that many don't want to talk about is that Cheney is and has been the President of the United States for almost eight years.

The figurehead was left in place for a photo op, because, of course, there was no danger to the figurehead. Amazingly, most people took this photo op at face value, not asking the questions that have been asked her since day one.

In fact, after Card told him of the second aircraft strike (thus undoubtedly proving it was a terrorist attack) Bush remained in the classroom and on campus for nearly another half-hour.

Yes, 25 minutes.

Card leaned over at 9:05 am to tell him that the second aircraft struck. Bush spoke to reporters at Emma E. Booker Elementary School at 9:30 am.

He was still on the campus, not "whisked away to an undisclosed and secure location immediately."
