If Congress Pursued Two Years of Non-Stop Investigations
into the wrong-doings, obfuscations, and crimes of the Bush administration, and NOTHING ELSE...and followed up those investigations with impeachment and/or criminal proceedings:

Would America accept it in 2008...

...or accuse the Democratic-majority Congress of doing nothing substantive in their term of office?

3. But In A Political Discourse
Logic has nothing to do with it.

At least when you're dealing with the RW.

5. I think they can multi-task
They should be capable of doing other things as well. During Clinton's term in office, the Rethuglican Congress did numerous investigations of minor stuff, including Socks the Cat and the postage for their Christmas card lists.

6. Maybe If They Concurrently Investigated and Passed Legislation
That Bush wouldn't veto, the crooks would be hung and the Freepers wouldn't be able to accuse them of diddly-squat.

Win-Win.

7. Not only would America accept it.....
They EXPECT it. If you recall, corruption was one of the top 3 issues among voters in 2006, according to exit polling.

Impeachment backlash is a myth, scare tactic, and trial balloon RW talking point. Those who continue to enable and ignore this behavior, do so at their own peril.

8. Doesn't matter which they do.
The media will beat them down for not doing the other.

Or they will make some other shit up, just as good for them.

9. They can do both...
...and even if impeachment takes so long it doesn't actually go through until his last day in office, I want the history books to read that he was impeached and removed from the Office of the President of the United States.

10. The average American will accept it
The Corporate controlled media will not and make the average American regret it.

11. I Thought the MSM Thrived On Dirt
It's what sells these days.

Are our media outlets SO dominated by Republicans that they will forego the profit to protect the GOP from itself?
