And I can't believe the juror wants a pardon, too (doesn't want Libby to serve time in jail).

WTF?!?!

HE LIED!

He committed PERJURY!

He obstructed a Federal investigation into the leaking of a classified CIA agent!!

FUCK Libby!

Let his ass ROT for 2 1/2 decades in JAIL!!!

2. Kate O'Berne (sp?) - repug ass.
Her husband set up the new government in Iraq. To be hired they had to meet the following: registered repug, voted for Bush, anti-choice and parents contributed large sums of money to Bush. No experienced required. Didn't he do a great job.

She should not be allowed on a news program.

3. If Libby gets pardoned, then every imprisoned drug user in this
country should be pardoned. Why should Libby automatically get a pardon while everyone else has to serve their time?

5. It's stunningly unbelievable
Libby commits perjury and is found guilty in a court of law, he should be pardoned, while at the very same time saying it was right for Clinton to be impeached. The fact that one was over a blowjob and the other was over lies leading to war - holy christ. O'Bierne and the rest of the Libby apologists have no soul. The juror is just beyond my comprehension completely.

6. This other thread says: "Tweety is eviscerating Kate O'Berne (National Review hack)"
about her demand that Scooter be pardoned.

What a delight to behold!"

7. I don't agree with the juror, but she seems to at least have some (misguided)
compassion. As to O'Beirne, that ho is so far down the stupid hole, a 50 ton crane with a chain hoist couldn't get her
dysfunctional butt out.

10. No, Matthews said that IF Bush is going to pardon him, he should do it now, rather

than when it is politically convenient.

11. A pardon at this particular moment would be far more politically damaging to Chimp
and the GOP than it would be in December 08.
For that reason, I agree with Tweety.

13. Yes Tweety said if Bush is going to pardon, he should FACE THE POLITICAL CONSEQUENCES
and do it now, rather than trying to sneak it in at the end of his term. I thought it was a good point.

17. A pardon would be evidence that the Bush Administration sanctioned Libby's conduct.
A pardon would also say that even though Libby did leak Plame's CIA affiliation, obstruct justice, and lied repeatedly to investigators and the grand jury, that's okay, because he was only trying to help the Bush Crime Family politically! Not a smart move for republicans..

19. A pardon will be a clear indication that he is COVERING UP SOMETHING
It would not be pretty for him.

21. of course -- that is why when BUSH pardons, BUSH will be tainted with it --
Edited on Thu Mar-08-07 11:47 AM by emulatorloo
not that he isn't tainted now -- you and I know that.

But others who are not so quick on the uptake might finally GET IT.

sorry if I wasn't clear before.

If Bush pardons it will look like he is covering up for himself.

9. Fuck the pardon!
I do agree that Libby isn't the only one who is guilty (though unfortunately, he is the only one guilty in a court of law), but pardon him????? Fuck. That. Shit! He's guilty, and should do the time.

As someone else mentioned, if Libby gets a pardon, then every single person sitting in prison right now for selling a dime bag outta get pardoned too.
