Conservatives demanding Libby pardon... "Soft on Crime"
Just saw that point on Countdown. I think this has some great legs.

1. Conservativism: The illigitimate idealology.
They hate trial lawyers until they are "wronged" by someone.
They hate defense lawyers (because they do not believe in trials, just a conviction) until they get indicted.
They speak of "law and order" unless it is their own kind on the wrong side.
They speak of "moral values" and decry divorce until one of their own kind gets caught such as Ted Haggard or Rush Limgbaugh, then all the sudden they believe in "respecting" the personal lives of their people even though they want to be in our bedrooms.
As I said:
"Conservativism: The illigitimate idealology."

2. Pardon
They'd better shut up about a pardon and try to change the subject. If Bush gives Libby a pardon, Bush's miserable approval ratings will drop by another half.
