Alaska Governor Palin In Trouble Over Firing and Family Squabble Gone Public

The papers and television news are agog in Alaska over the firing of our Police Commissioner Walt Monaghan and his replacement as top cop, a local guy here called Kopp of all things.

Apparently her sister was divorcing her husband, a state trooper and it got really messy. She and her husband and others reported to Monaghan over 30+ complaints about the soon-to-be ex-brother-in-law and further harassed him. When Monaghan didn't do their bidding -she, her husband and two others in her administration asking for the guy to be fired- Monaghan was. Kopp is slated to replace him but apparently he was sexually harassing someone down here where I live and where he was police chief. That is now swirling in the news.

Palin has been touted as a running mate for McCain and now is facing an investigation over this whole idiot matter.

Between Ted and Ben Stevens, Don Young, Lisa Murkowski and this dame, I am well entertained.
