Every Democrat should refuse to appear on Fox News
http://www.rawstory.com/news/2007/Edwards_to_skip_debate_hosted_by_0307.html

Let's be honest, most of people who watch fox news could care less for anyone elses point of view

After watching the distortion spewing out of fox news after the libby verdict only re-enforces that it would have no benefit to us

1. I agree
They'll attempt to spin it as dems' unwillingness to hear other opinions or some pathetic "poor us" story but too bad. Maybe if they can't get the story, the few reasonable people who listen to Faux will bail. Or am I hoping for too much?

2. Yep - strip away the veneer of fair-and-balanced
since obviously they're not anyway -- let them construct and maintain their delusions wholly on their own

3. Politicians and cameras are like flies and shit.
Separating them is an exercise in futility.

4. As far as the Libby trial goes
Edited on Wed Mar-07-07 09:18 PM by azurnoir
Bush chose Fitz as the prosecutor and the CIA initiated the investigation, so really they don't have much to say, but they whine anyway.
I don't understand why any Dem would appear on Faux, unless there is some perverse pleasure in having what ever one of their "commentators" shout you down for 15 minutes.

5. Yup. Appearing only serves to validate them as a legitimate news source,
which they most certainly are not. They should not be taken seriously.

6. I Absolutely Couldn't Agree More
Why validate propaganda?

Why sleep with the enemy?

7. Irony?
Isnt it ironic that Fox News gets a democratic debate, while MSNBC gets a Republican debate?

8. Been on tis bandwagon for years ...
Most FOX viewers only tune-in in the hopes of seeing a Dem guest get creamed -- take away that possibility, and these shows will lose their audience pronto.

Dem talking point when they're asked why they refuse invitations to appear on FOX: "I only agree to appear on legitimate news shows."

THAT will say it all -- and as we know, if you say something over, and over, and over, the mindless eventually accept it as a fact.

9. I think Clark has done some good on Fox though, I've got say.
I was talking to my uber republican co workers, who were bemoaning Hillary's popularity and talking about leaving the country. The were asking me why we backing her of all people. I said I was personally backing Clark, and there was actually a spark in their eyes of fondness. They really liked him MUCH more.

So its been good to have a sane voice on Fox like Clark, but I also agree that Fox's abuses to other viewpoints are intolerable. THEY are wrecking this country.

10. That may be, but that accounts for very little of what comes out of the airwaves on fox

11. Why legitimize that three ring circus?

It's just a RW propaganda tool. There's not much sense in trying to dignify it.
