Rice says Iran did not take nuclear talks seriously
http://feeds.bignewsnetwork.com/index.php?sid=384653

US Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, has accused Iran of not taking seriously the talks on its disputed nuclear program.

Ms Rice told reporters aboard her plane as she flew to the United Arab Emirates that Iran had given the run-around to envoys from the US and five other world powers at the weekend talks in Geneva.

She said all six nations had agreed Iran would only have a two week deadline before sanctions could be announced.

Iran now has to agree to freeze its nuclear activities and respond to a package of incentives offered in exchange for halting enrichment of uranium.

The Bush administration sent a top diplomat to support the offer at the weekend talks but, according to Rice, he was met with small talk from Iran's chief nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili

Guess she didn't like Iran's answer

2. Ah, Condi Iraq doesn't have the bomb
And by the N.I.E. estimates of winter 2007 it doesn't have the capacity
to build a bomb and will not for @ least 3 to 6 years.

God, I can't wait untill this group is gone and or in jail.

3. More like Rice showed up...
... was completely uninformed, made wild, sweeping accusations, and was laughed out of the room by anyone without a vested interest in a war.

Worst SoS EVER!

4. Sanctions only hurt the little guy
Sanctions never hurt the government involved. Look what sanctions did to the people of Iraq yes it puts a damper on the government but hurts the people the most.

6. As if she or her overlords took the talks seriously
It was just a charade to give the pretense of diplomacy before the unilateral attack.

If the American populace lets them get away with another war of empire we will all deserve the extreme blowback we will receive from the rest of the world.

9. Well, at least she tried ...
She went all out to find a peaceful solution, didn't she? Gave it everything she had.

10. Condi is the least significant Sec of State ever. She's vacuous.
She's a bobble head puppet and is 100% controlled by Bush.
