When we fight "to win" in Afghanistan, and target "al Qaeda" and "Taliban", are we actually targeting bin Laden, the kind of enemy that bin Laden represents? If not, what are we doing?
The notion that "bin Laden" is holed up in the mountains of the Afghan/Pakistan border is ridiculous. What kind of "training" could a "terrorist" go thru' in the back of beyond, that might account for an attack like 9/11, and that couldn't be better done in less picturesque places?
