Judas betrayed Jesus for 30 pieces of silver, Dems in Congress betrayed Constitution for a tote bag

Just heard on Democracy Now: AT&T made a big contribution to Democratic convention and all delegates tote bags will have an AT&T logo on it.

This is on top of the money they poured on individual members of congress to change their votes on FISA immunity.

As a matter of principle, Obama should tell them to give the money back and delegates should publicly burn those tote bags.

Any victory in November will be short-lived if the public can accurate assume that Democrats are as for sale as the GOP.

3. I cant blame them, I'm a whore for a free tshirt, plus those tote bags are cool
If a Democratic Congress ever DID anything, they wouldnt be able to run on the "we'll do something" ticket. They run on the promise that they will combat the evil repiggies. If we ever realized that most of them dont DO anything, we'd never elect anyone anymore.

Plus, how did most of these representatives (ha) get where they are anyway? selling out for the almighty dollar.
