Sounds like Horowitz, and just about as stupid.

3. Some extremist rant about how the media is still (somehow) "Liberal"
And how Mush Limpdick, Laura Ingraham, and the other haters should be on network news, etc.

Thom has these right wing morans on all the time, but he's usually good at keeping them under control. This one kept trying to lash out from the cage, so to speak.

8. did he get into the part where they blame the "liberal" media for being in Iraq
because they weren't doing their job?

(Mind you, being intimidated into not asking questions ...)

2. are you talking about the schmuck who said that Charlie Gibson was part of
the liberal media?

I had to turn it off. I don't understand why T Hartman lets these loudmouth blowhards just talk over him, and totally dominate the conversation. I can't take it, and I always just change the station.

4. Yeah, that would be the one.
If Poppy Bush's golfing buddy Chuckles Gibson is "liberal", then I'm the fucking Easter Bunny.

5. He was saying the only reason Obama attracted 75, 000 people
Was that there was a popular rock band there that artificially inflated the numbers.

6. The Decemberists!
Now, I love the Decemberists, but if they played a concert for free, they might fill a 5000 person hall. Maybe.

7. Who are the Decemberists?
Seriously. I've never heard of them. And I imagine a LOT of other people are like me in that regard. It could be that the 75,000 were there to see Barack Obama. But the corporate media folks can't really believe that now, can they? Or they can't have us believing that at any rate.

9. Exactly.
There aren't many bands left that can draw a crowd of 75,000. Springsteen or U2, probably. The Stones, definitely. The Decemberists?? Yeah, right. I never heard of them before the day of that rally, and still couldn't pick out one of their songs on the radio.
