CHICAGO -- As Gov. Rod Blagojevich on Wednesday signed a new law that will put in place tougher penalties for selling guns to minors, he also announced he's got a new idea to help combat the violence that Chicago is experiencing: he's talking to the Illinois State Police and the National Guard to see if they could help.

3. Yep, this changed my mind on gun control

I used to be super liberal about gun control, you know take away all the guns, until Hurricane Katrina when the government went through the streets taking away guns from people average citizens while gangs were wandering around with tons of firepower. I promise you, my family will never be at the mercy of someone else with a gun. It is our right to protect ourselves. Lord knows, the priority of the governement is NOT to protect the average/below-class citizen - it's to protect themselves and the wealthy, which is exactly why the second amendment was created.
