If McCain is elected and develops Alzheimer's during his term...
Would it be hushed up? Would they just try to keep him out of the limelight and give him written texts without allowing any follow-up questions? How would we ever know?

6. How Did We Know About Reagan?
It was an open secret. The real question is: how do we get an impaired president out of office expeditiously? We really can't afford really bad bad presidents any more.

The bills for Reagan, Bush and Shrub are going to be with us a long time.

13. You Can't "Hush Up" Altzheimers
Edited on Wed Jul-23-08 07:29 PM by KharmaTrain
My mother suffered from that illness and trust me, there's no way to hide it or run from it or cover it over. There are other symptoms that will show up such as Parkinsons and minor strokes...energy level goes way down even before mental problems begin to show.

While I have plenty of contempt toward Gramps and all repugnicans, having witnessed what Altzheimers is and can do, I wouldn't wish it or even project it on anyone.

17. My mother died of Alzheimer's two years ago.
The illness took the last ten years of her life. I was her caregiver, so I understand how you feel about the disease. I wouldn't wish it on anyone either, but it does happen and after seeing so many Alzheimer's patients during my mother's illness, I know that it begins with almost unnoticeable symptoms. That's what worries me.

16. Been there, done that with Ronnie
Complicit Media will cover up - as they are already practicing by not showcasing his errors, just like they did before.

We wouldn't want to tell the world that our Pres. is a complete idiot, now would we? I would, but they would not in the "interest of national security".
