PNAC Founder William Kristol heckled in Austin.
Here is video of this founder of the Project for a new American Century being hecked by the audience while trying to give a speech in Austin earlier this week. Most of the hecklers were conservatives who did not appreciate his neoconservative propaganda. It is an interesting study in neoconservative tactics in silencing any opposing viewpoints.

2. While it's a great video, it is not from "earlier this week."
Not even this year. It's from back in October. But thanks for re-posting (it's appeared here a few times) for those who might have missed it. While I think some of the audience were being assholes, Kristol out-assholed them bigtime.

4. Most intriguing. Kristol, like his cohorts, has no shame whatsoever.

5. yes, the neoconservative tactic in silencing opposing viewpoints is the same as mine
take turns.

made me feel sorry for Kristol (darn you! I wouldn't have thought that was humanly possible.) The opposition in the audience made Kristol look like the reasonable one in the room.

The audience was pigs, Kristol remained dignified and a gentleman considering what he had to put up with. IMHO

7. kristol - pre-PNAC, 1993 - know thine enemy...connect the dots
link to PBS timeline on the health care "debate" which was scuttled by the neo-cons and their enablers.

December 2, 1993 - Leading conservative operative William Kristol privately circulates a strategy document to Republicans in Congress. Kristol writes that congressional Republicans should work to "kill" -- not amend -- the Clinton plan because it presents a real danger to the Republican future: Its passage will give the Democrats a lock on the crucial middle-class vote and revive the reputation of the party. Nearly a full year before Republicans will unite behind the "Contract With America, "Kristol has provided the rationale and the steel for them to achieve their aims of winning control of Congress and becoming America's majority party. Killing health care will serve both ends. The timing of the memo dovetails with a growing private consensus among Republicans that all-out opposition to the Clinton plan is in their best political interest. Until the memo surfaces, most opponents prefer behind-the-scenes warfare largely shielded from public view. The boldness of Kristol's strategy signals a new turn in the battle. Not only is it politically acceptable to criticize the Clinton plan on policy grounds, it is also politically advantageous. By the end of 1993, blocking reform poses little risk as the public becomes increasingly fearful of what it has heard about the Clinton plan. (emphasis added)

The strategy proposed by kristol began in the arena of the health care battle. It continues to be applied in every other battle we now fight for the rights, We, the People, hold so dear.

I'll say it again,

"Know thine Enemy" - Connect the Dots"

8. Regardless of when it's from, it's a thing of beauty
I'd like to see video of a new confrontation with those murderers every day. Go truth seekers!

I'm very proud of the people in the audience who had the courage to speak up.
Special thanks to video guy.
