Anybody watching C-Span House Debate? The Dems are cleaning

the Repubics clock on the the Ethics Committee funding. A real pissing contest and it has the Republics so scrambly they are practically spitting. Wish I could give a better synopsis but if you are near a TV you might want to tune in.

Republics are trying to "pretend" the Ethics Committee cannot operate because they don't have funding. Came in late but am wondering if the Repubics think it needs to be done away with because there isn't enough money to do the job properly. Correct me if I have got it wrong.

2. Drier has just won the "Whiner of the Day" award. Working on being

named "Whiner of the Week." Stephanie Tubbs Jones yelled at the Repubics said "You AREN'T going to use me or my committee!"

Republics are complaining that one of their members "missed a trip" because they didn't know the new rules. Louise Slaughter just said she was "sorry the Member missed his trip."

and WOW, Stephanie Tubbs Jones D-Ohio Chair of the Committee on Standards (Ethics) was really blasting them, I was impressed. The Republics haven't seen that kind of well deserved fire in a long time.
