Senate debate - Graham telling Specter he is wrong. Hell has

official frozen over. They are discussing the rights of terrorists and something about the DC courts. Came in late but this might get pretty good. The Repubs are eating each other. Graham is lecturing Specter on the law - "credit to the DC Circuit Court not missing the biggest issue in military law in 200 years." Translation - somebody is getting screwed.

Can anyone catch me up on what is going on?

Spector wants to put the Habeus back into effect, and Graham is comparing his action to allowing the Nazis to have lawyers inthe US courts.

4. I believe Specter's position is the designation of suspects as 'enemy combatants' prejudices them

in the eyes of the court. He's arguing for protection of their rights under the habeus corpus provisions in the Constitution. Graham is arguing that the new law protects those rights.

Hope I got that right. I listened yesterday.
