We were lucky enough to have medical insurance provided by my retirement plan. Six years ago, at our annual dermatology checkup, our doctor found a 'suspicious' looking small red bump on the side of Miz t.'s neck. just a little below and behind her right ear. Honestly, it looked like a mosquito bite. The biopsy indicated melanoma.
She had outpatient surgery for excision of the tumor and related lymph nodes. For the first two years, the oncologist wanted to see her every 3 months. Twice the next year. Now, just annually. All continues to be clear and fine.
My point is that if McCain is seeing a dermatologist every 3 months, that indicates that he has ongoing outbreaks. Otherwise, he'd just be going in for the annual checkup. I know, armchair diagnosis by an unqualified speculator. But I did spend last night in a Holiday Inn. ;-)
My second point: McCain's baseball cap is stupid. Miz t.'s doc told her to wear a broad brimmed hat any time she's out in the sun for more than a couple of minutes. A couple of years ago I had a small basal cell carcinoma removed from my lower eyelid. So now we both wear broad brimmed straw hats when we're outdoors. McCain's baseball cap gives him absolutely no protection from the sun on the very area that his melanoma apparently recurs. D-U-M-B
