If this is going to be a long drawn out intensive Congressional investigation, it needs a rip-roaring name for posterity. We've had names like "Watergate" and "Iran-Contra" that quickly sum up in the public's mind an entire world of malfeasance.

I don't know if the "Plame Affair" adequately covers it, since it probably goes beyond Plame and beyond just outing a covert CIA operative and involves a conspiracy to completely fabricate some evidence and present other evidence in a false light. Maybe the "Yellow Cake Scandal" would work. I don't know.

That is, I hope this investigation goes beyond Plame and the Libby trial and gets at the question of WHY Libby was willing to lie to cover Cheney's ass and what Cheney has to hide.
