3. Hmmm, what key words would Bush's NSA be tracking?
Here's a few: "Kerry", "Gore", "Edwards", "Clinton", "Dean", "Kennedy", "Feingold", "Waxman", "Conyers", "Wilson", "Plame", "DNC".

I'm sure there's more, but those have to be some of the ones they are focusing on.

4. Well, this blows Bush's cover...
Hasn't he been saying for some time about how these kinds of operations need to be kept secret in order to not "alert the terrorists?"

Now that the terrorists "are alerted" to Bush's secret NSA wiretapping, will he cancel further domestic spying operations? Hmmmmm...makes one ponder

(For the record: I don't think Bush ever intended to use his illegal wiretapping operations of Americans to "combat terrorism." I think he wanted to keep tabs on political opposition and critics, and to glean blackmail material)

6. Just Being Copied, Not Looked At
That will be the statement when there is absolute evidence of what the government is doing: Copying everything.

They will justify it by saying we have been copying it for years but never looking at any of it unless they had a court order.

They do not now know the names of the next terrorists that attack in the the USA. When that happens and they know names the first thing they would want to do is have a copied record of all communications for past years so they can search it with names they never had before.

When it comes time for prosecution they will have to explain how they got all the past communications evidence related to names they never had before the attack and if they had them before why did the attack happen?

Copying everything, the reasons and the excuses they will give are obvious. Of course they are copying everything.

That is why they have to keep Guantanamo. Nobody can ever know.

11. k & r I love big brother.
He gazed up at the enormous face. Forty years it had taken him to learn what kind of smile was hidden beneath the dark moustache. O cruel, needless misunderstanding! O stubborn, self-willed exile from the loving breast! Two gin-scented tears trickled down the sides of his nose. But it was all right, everything was all right, the struggle was finished. He had won the victory over himself. He loved Big Brother.

"Kerry", "Gore", "Edwards", "Clinton", "Dean", "Kennedy", "Feingold", "Waxman", "Conyers", "Wilson", "Plame", "DNC".

Donald Rumsfeld is giving the president his daily briefing. He concludes by saying: "Yesterday, 3 Brazilian soldiers were killed."

"OH NO!" the President exclaims. "That's terrible!"

His staff sits stunned at this display of emotion, nervously watching as the President sits, head in hands.

Finally, the President looks up and asks, "How many is a brazillion?"
