AFA takes credit for Ford's decision not to sponsor the GLAAD Media Awards....
and for "homosexual agenda"-promoting Ford's drop in sales.....

The American Family Association is a real collection of delusional assholes. - OP's commentary

from the AFA website:

AFA says Ford drops sponsorship of GLAAD Media Awards because of boycott
(Tupelo, MS) - American Family Association (AFA) says Ford Motor Company, in response to AFA’s boycott, has dropped their sponsorship of the GLAAD Media Awards. The organization says the move confirms that Ford is silently moving away from supporting the homosexual agenda.

“Last week we announced that Ford was no longer supporting homosexual publications with advertising. Now Ford, after several years of sponsoring the GLAAD Media Awards, is dropping their sponsorship. We believe both of these moves were a direct result of our boycott,” said Donald E. Wildmon, AFA chairman.

Wildmon said he was surprised that GLAAD did not publicly criticize Ford for dropping their support. “I think the hand-writing is on the wall. Homosexual activists are seeing that the days of Ford promoting their agenda are drawing to a close. Homosexual activists don’t have the buying power to match those who oppose same-sex marriage,” Wildmon said.

AFA has been promoting a boycott of Ford since last March. Ford sales have been dropping dramatically since the boycott began, down 13.5% in February compared to a year ago.

Initially, Ford agreed to drop the company's support for homosexual publications and events to avoid a boycott by AFA. Ford reneged on the agreement after angry homosexual leaders met with the company.

American Family Association is a pro-family advocacy organization with over two million online supporters.
