Will pot dealers ever be romanticized the same way boot-leggers and rum-runners were?

Prohibition era boot-leggers and rum-runner hold a certain air of romanticism and whimsy when remembered by people around back then and people learning about them today. Instead of being seem as people that were actively breaking the law, they are revered as rebels standing up to an unjust/moralistic law.

If the criminalization of marijuana were to end in the future would weed farmers and dealers receive the same treatment?

2. The glamor surrounding the bootleggers

was the glamor of the speakeasy, the underground club that served alcohol. Those were a big deal in the cities, the place to go if you wanted to hear top musicians and see top acts.

I don't think everyday people saw a whole lot of glamor in the street level rum dealers who were selling wood alcohol and killing them.
