You know the one, at the end of "Streetcar Named Desire" when the nurse and doctor come to take her away and the nurse says "It's time to go, Blanche." I truly expect her to come unglued at one of her "speakings".

It seems to me that Ann Coulter is descending into madness with her constant "faggot" lines. I think drugs and alcohol have deepened her psychosis and it is not long before she taken away.
At that point, she may HAVE to depend on the "kindness of strangers." Nobody else will want anything to do with her!

5. Agree that Blanche is a sympathetic character. I like her better than

the other characters. Williams draws them all very well, but I'm drawn to Blanche. I'd prefer magic to realism also, given the choice.

Ann's problems are so twisted and tangled I can't even guess what's going on in that rotting, sordid, wicked mind of hers. The IQ's high but the heart is frozen shut, and the tongue drips acid.

Maybe she'll fall into the Everglades and become lunch for an alligator.
