Draft Board Conference for three days this summer in D.C. |
|
Edited on Fri Mar-09-07 08:16 AM by sarcasmo
My wife has this co-worker who is going to a draft board conference this summer in D.C. His claim to her is that it is very near. I have no link because this is straight from the horses mouth. He also told her that it was a very good idea for me to get on the local draft board. My concern is why would there even have to be a need for a three day conference if we weren't gearing up for a draft. If someone has heard of other talk of this from some one in another state please let me know.

1. I interviewed a couple of months ago for a position on our local draft board. |

I was told it would take a couple of months before I heard something. It had to be approved by the governor's office then it goes to the federal bureaucracy's for approval. But at the time it wasn't like there was a lot of takers. If I get the position, it will be one day of training, probably in Lansing.
