Pro-Bush demonstrators call crosses a slight to soldiers

More than 200 demonstrators supporting the Bush administration's conduct of the Iraq war gather to protest a Lafayette hillside display of more than 3,000 crosses representing U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq. Thursday's demonstration on Deer Hill Road was one of the first stops on what the group Move America Forward intends to be a cross-country caravan ending March 17 in Washington, D.C., where it plans to mount a counter-demonstration to an anti-war protest.

Even one military death is too much, but there comes a time when you have to fight the Middle East playground bully. Our nose was bloodied on 911, and our entire culture is at stake.
