Situation A: A female soldier is not told that there's a sexual harrassment problem in the army. She trains and goes to war. She is caught off guard and is brutally raped by some psycho. This scenario repeats istelf over and over because of the naive ideals of the kinds of idiots posting in that other thread.

Or does this sound better?

Situation B: A female soldier joins the military, and the problems with recent sexual assaults are explained to her beforehand. She is taught how to defend herself, both phyically and psychologically, from any possible advances from male soldiers. If a rape were to occur, she has a fighting chance of preventing it, subduing the guy, and reporting it.
