Robert Greenwald's Brave New Films has released Fox Attacks Obama. The short video exposes Fox News' repeated attempts to discredit Presidential hopeful Barack Obama.

Obama should join John Edwards now, not later, and pull out of their debate which only gives them the figleaf of respectability they clearly do not deserve.

Obama is crazy to step into that arena. His pulling out will really embarrass Fox now.

I bet she actually thought she had a novel idea there too! Gee...a candidate wanting to win...how clever!

Too bad her slogan points to one of the issues with her candidacy: whether she can win. Some say not.

This is not an abstract arguement. We know the Republicans are gonna nominate someone we don't want to be president. That is part of the political process, and we would not expect them to nominate someone that pleases us the most.

But let's face reality. If we nominate Hillary, we are going to make it more likely that a Republican is going to win. The choice is not between Hillary, Obama, Edwards, Clark, Gore, etc. Perhaps it would sink in that we have a choice of Obama, Edwards, Clark, Gore or someone whose nomination might give us Brownback, Guilliani, McCain or Gingrich. Yes, electability is an important factor.

It isn't enough to want to win. We need someone who CAN.
