Brazilian protester punches Bush in the face (pics)
Edited on Fri Mar-09-07 06:30 PM by SoCalDem

A protester punches an effigy of US President George W. Bush during an anti-Bush rally near the Hilton Hotel in Sao Paulo as the US leader starts a five-nation Latin American tour. Bush on Friday denied turning his back on Latin America, where demonstrations and violent protests rocked the start of his goodwill tour.(AFP/Vanderlei Almeida)

has there ever been a sitting U.S. President who sparked such deep hatred around the world? The Bush as Hitler images are really telling.

27. It is no different no matter where he goes
Please ignore the WH spin that Chavez organized protests in Brazil. That is ludicrous. Simple people understand when international law is violated. They know when a sovereign state in invaded and occupied. People have eyes and ears.

19. I cannot hear anything about bush's good will tour without
hearing the song from "Evita" about her rainbow tour.

Let's hear it for the Rainbow Tour
It's been an incredible success
We weren't quite sure, we had a few doubts.

Now I don't like to spoil a wonderful story
But the news from Rome isn't quite as good
She hasn't gone down like they thought she would
Italy's unconvinced by Argentine glory
They equate Peron with Mussolini, can't think why

See what I mean? Just change a few words and you have bush's tour report.

21. Not that I strictly believe it, but CNN reported
(not a pundit) reported that Hugo Chavez has whipped up the people and his organizations are paying most of them.

24. Quoting "not a pundit" truly enhances CNN's credibility.
I have no doubt that the often-re-elected president of Venezuela is doing all he can to counter Bush's sorry gambit in S.A. He has a huge bundle of money to throw around, much of it (surprise) straight from the good ol' USA. We did the same, in spades, back when we were solvent, and even now Junior is driving our beloved country deeper into debt financing a futile attempt to convince the world that the earth is flat.

My question is why can't this sad little son of the second-worst pResident ever to have drawn a breath smack these stupid, backward brown folks into submission where they belong? Huh, boyking?

Get this punk: in pure numbers, you are by far the most hated homo sapiens ever to have lived, and you will remain in that state until a river of piss washes your gravestone, library, and legacy into oblivion.

26. It makes me,...sad,...to see this. The only good thing is, it appears,...
,...they are distinguishing between the American people and Bush&Co to some degree.

This leadership has shown no compassion in action, whatsoever. The majority of funds Bush alleges went to compassionate causes really went into militia drug activities.

I feel ashamed,...even though I am not responsible for the policies pursued by Bush&CO.
