Bush is trying to mimic with 1 US ship what Cuba has been doing by building thousands of clinics and providing hundreds of thousands of doctors to the Caribbean and Latin Americas for over a decade.

The interesting thing is.. that the Cuban government & people built world class universal health care for Cuba first.



on edit: Keep in mind that the Cuban government offered to send a large rapid response medical brigade (with their own meds & supplies) to NOLA within days. Bush didn't respond.
