3. Seems like a nice link but it's missing a vast chunk of American culture in music.
I don't see any reference to the longest running program in radio history that being the Grand Ole Opry which began in the 1920s or the mention of country music in general and it's impact on rural and small town America.

I'm bookmarking this anyway.

P.S. I would suggest to anyone who hasn't seen the movie "O Brother Where Art Thou?" starring George Clooney to check it out, it's hilarious and has some great vintage music, the soundtrack alone is well worth obtaining the CD.

4. The Opry stuff is in the 1920's section..
I found it while I was looking for music Mccain might use without getting sued :)
