2. I read that a former girlfriend said

that Newt always insisted on oral sex, because he could then say, "I never slept with that woman." I think it was on a Kos diary, I'll try to find it.

He's trying to show that he is a sinner (Lord, forgive me for I have sinned, ala Jimmy Swaggert.) But, the previous statement made to his girlfriend shows just how cynical he is....cynical enough for this to be a big, phony ploy to head off RW criticism of his dalliances....he's been praying about it, dontcha know. Ack! It makes me sick.

I have no doubt that Newt was among those on the right who led the charge that Bill Clinton's contention (that oral sex isn't sex) was self-serving and inaccurate.
