Another info request.. List of Congress members that have been in the military
Divided up into Democrats and Republicans.

Still need more ammo for a local blog flame war with wingnuts.

1. Don't know of any list out there...and it'll be tough putting one together.
I wish you luck, though. Overall, the percentage keeps dropping. Back in 1999, 1/3 of Congress was composed of veterans. I'd be amazed now if it was 1/5.

And I can't find it through Google.

There were considerably more Democrats than Republicans on the list I saw.

Had some wingnut claim that no liberals had ever been in the military so I wanted to slap him down.
