problem IS, you know terrorists of many stripes WOULD use a nuke if they could get one, and there are LOTS of crazy people in Iran who HATE the US with good reason.

that said, they've proven themselves to be so inept at everything other than killing and playing footsie with the media that you certainly don't want them to have any power to affect world events. the sooner they're gone the better.

he was republican and worked for the administration at one point but is really great - sane and fair and all the rest
i am enjoying this group and of course roseanne is a great fighter for some very important causes

i will have to let that comment slide as well - i liked roseanne shining a little light on reagan and his beginning the dismantling of the middle class and bill said it was like reagan coming on in the 5th act for all the credit he deserves about ending the cold war

but again david kuo said some fantastic things and it made me think he would be a great spokesman for someone
he is bright and easy to understand and seems to be an advocate for poverty/suffering among other things

on edit: i wonder why he was ever a republican in the first place
sounds like it may have been because of religion but clearly he discovered the truth about how the govt republicans really feel about helping those in most need

49. My one beef with Overtime:

I miss seeing how the panelists disengage, interact or just walk off as fast as they can. That was always very insightful, no matter how dull or stimulating the prior discussion.

In particular, I wanted to see Roseanne acknowledge some common ground with David Kuo since he did so to her (in a way) during the show.

This was the best show of this season by far even with the red herring of Deepak Chopra.

Likewise, the topics of the week had little to do with Chopra's POV. That's not to say that they could have, but his introduction to the conversation came off as an afterthought.

it appears that she heard he was the republican and made some incorrect assumptions or took what he said much further than he meant them
that was the only exchange in the entire show i wish hadnt happened because she was really going to hold onto her line instead of hearing what he was saying

oh the one other bit i wish was different was when the former general? said he had a question he would like to ask but bill had already moved on and the guy was gone but i was curious what he wanted to say
