17. There was an excellent article several years back in "Vanity Fair"

on Mr. Gingrich and his extra-curricular activities.

Anyone who could read (and isn't a Kool-Aid drinker,) knew about his affair during the Clinton impeachment fiasco. They also knew about the multiple other indiscretions.

It's time to hang this around the necks of the Republicans like a millstone. Family values? Please.

It seems that the writer doesn't realize that family backgrounds like this are more part of the norm than not and to attack his family for his behavior IMHO seems just plain narrow minded and bigoted.

Newt is a politician and only uses "family values" because he knew that this would get him elected. This is very similar to the Shrub being born again.
