Louis Farakhan-Bat Shit Crazy

So I have seen a ton of coverage on CNN today of an interview they did with Farakhan. I have never been interested in him or looked into him much so I just decided to do so. I knew he was controversial but I thought perhaps the media was just blowing him out of proportion...but nope, this guys is bat shit crazy!! check out some of these gems:

He was labeled anti-semitic and a Jewish journalist at The Village Voice referred to him as a "Black Hitler". In response to the allegations Farrakhan made one of his most controversial statements, for which he was censured unanimously by the United States Senate.

"So I said to the members of the press, 'Why won't you go and look into what we are saying about the threats on Reverend Jackson's life?' Here the Jews don't like Farrakhan and so they call me 'Hitler'. Well that's a good name. Hitler was a very great man. He wasn't great for me as a Black man but he was a great German and he rose Germany up from the ashes of her defeat by the united force of all of Europe and America after the First World War. Farrakhan: "Who owns the Federal Reserve?"

Audience: "Jews."

Farrakhan: "The same year they set up the IRS, they set up the FBI. And the same year they set up the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith… It could be a coincidence… to see black intellectuals free… I want to see them not controlled by members of the Jewish community."<15>

At an NOI-sponsored event in February 2006, Farrakhan provoked accusations of antisemitism in Illinois by stating that "These false Jews promote the filth of Hollywood. It's the wicked Jews, the false Jews that are promoting lesbianism, homosexuality, Zionists have manipulated Bush and the American government " [

Farrakhan is an amazing speaker. He's a charming, amazing, hypnotic guy.

I humbly ask that he re-examine and fine-tune his beliefs.

His organization has done a lot of good works. Too bad that those good works are tainted by the hatred that marks his organization.

I saw the speech he gave where he said that Jews conspired with the Nazi's in the Holocaust from the beginning.
I saw him interviewed on Evans and Novak where he said that Black people had more in common with the republikkan party than the Demo\cratic Party -- anti-abortion, anti-Gay rights, etc.

I heard him say it in the 80's and the 90's.

He said the Jews (not the Zionists) conspired with the Nazi's in the creation of the Holocaust. Then he told the interviewer that he was told this by an unnamed Rabbi friend of his.

14. Yeah, twice.

I covered him a couple times for newspapers. 95 percent of what he says is just good, sound, sensible advice to black people (mainly black men) to straighten up and fly right, solve their own problems without relying on white folks to do it. Hell of a speaker; talks for three hours and you never get bored.

The other five percent is batshit crazy. I mean, flying saucers, Scientology-level crazy. I don't specifically remember him talking that much about Jews, just white folks in general. He's a follower of a completely crazy guy, Elijah Muhammed; I don't know how much of it Farrakhan actually believes, but he spreads it.
