When we break the law, an apology most likely won't do us any good

But when the FBI breaks the law, they are forgiven if they apologize. At least that is what is seems like according to this article.


But Attorney General Alberto Gonzales and FBI Director Robert Mueller acknowledged Friday the FBI broke the law to get personal information about thousands of Americans. They apologized and vowed to prevent further illegal intrusions, the Associated Press reported.
