Dem candidates boycotting FUX?
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0307/3069.html

I'm all for it! I hope our Dems nationalize this boycott... FUX is the disniformation, slander-machine attached at the hip to the WH. Enough is enough. FUX viewers aren't voting for our side anyway-- they drink from the wingnut Kool-Aid well. From Swiftboat vets to spreading lies about Obama attending madrasses... FUX has been the main MSM desseminator. Well, F*CK THEM.

Please Dem candidates, stay OFF and AWAY from this shitty network.

The Nevada State Democratic Party is pulling out of a controversial presidential debate scheduled for Aug. 14 in Reno and co-hosted by Fox News, according to a letter released late Friday from state party chairman Tom Collins and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev).

The letter said Nevada Democrats had entered into the agreement with Fox, despite strong opposition from Democratic activist groups such as MoveOn.org, as a way of finding "new ways to talk to new people."

But Collins and Reid wrote that comments on Thursday by FOX News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes, when he jokingly compared Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama, the junior senator from Illinois, to Osama bin Laden, "went too far," and prompted Nevada Democrats to end the partnership.

"We cannot, as good Democrats, put our party in a position to defend such comments," the letter said. "In light of his comments, we have concluded that it is not possible to hold a presidential debate that will focus on our candidates and are therefore cancelling our August debate. We take no pleasure in this, but it is the only course of action."

2. Absolutely! Take the wind out of their sails/sales.

Don't give them the opportunity to bully and then crow about how they "asked the hard questions." If their viewers complain about never hearing from Dems about their work, the reply should be "Change the channel and you can see me on a channel that demonstrates fairness in media." Suggestion--boycott CNN too. We're done talking to Delay.

3. The right has jumped the shark. People have had ENOUGH of the bullshit.
They're like Evil Beanie Babies, those assholes. You look at the things, and say "Who the hell would ever want these stupid pieces of crap, never mind pay a fortune for them?"

5. It's about time Dems called out Fox Noise as an illegitimate source of news!
Appearing on that network only served to legitimize them as a valid news station. Go Dems!

And Ailes can suck it for his "warning" to Dems about boycotting them. Up yours, Roge!

6. CNN should be boycotted too.
They're almost as bad as FUX News.

Bob Fertek of Democrats.com also favors a boycott. He listed 5 steps:

No Democratic elected or party official should do a 1-on-1 interview with FOX News or appear as a guest on any FOX News show.

Democratic consultants, "strategists," and candidates should abide by the same rule.

FOX News reporters and cameras should be excluded from Democratic events like fundraisers that do not take place in public buildings.

Democratic voters should demand Congressional passage of "a la carte" pricing for cable TV so we don't have to pay for FOX News.

Democratic voters should boycott all companies that advertise on FOX News.
