We're proud to announce that former U.S. Senate candidate NED LAMONT (D-Connecticut) will be the keynote speaker at this year's Democracy for Tennessee Convention!

Ned is the progressive patriot who stood up to Joe Lieberman by challenging - and beating - him in Connecticut's Democratic primary election. Ned's candidacy helped change the terms of the debate about Iraq in 2006 and is a symbol of the reform that Democracy for America continues to fight for.

Democracy for Tennessee (DFT) is the statewide partner of the Democracy for America Coalition. DFT is a non-profit, multi-candidate committee state PAC made up of volunteers from across the state who are dedicated to stopping the threat to our democracy posed by the right-wing agenda and corrupt corporate interests.
