NONE of the possible Dem 08 nominees would have started the Iraq War

If they voted for the Iraq War Resolution OR haven't subsequently called for an immediate withdrawl, that is a DIFFERENT question from whether they would have started the war if they were in Idiot Son's postion. None of them would.

Back when they voted for the IWR Democrats were in danger of losing MORE seats to Repukes because the country was still believing Idiot Son's bullshit.

LOSING MORE SEATS would probably mean we would not have won majorities in 06 and the situation now would be much worse than it is. Some DUers think that would be fine. BULL SHIT.

Anyone who says they would sit out 08 or vote third party if we get Hillary or whoever else has announced is a fucking Repuke tool.

The media was too busy rah rah-ing for war and slobbering over the shrub. I don't know about where you live, but here in Texas (part of Dumbfuckistan) I am one of very few that I knew who thinks for himself/herself. I still know people who think Tom DeLay is innocent! When you're dealing with that kind of blind devotion, no dissenting Dem stands a chance. And Texas is just one state in Dumbfuckistan. Now the fog seems to be lifting - even with my slow-to-wake-up fellow Texans. I don't have a problem with the Dems in congress that approved the war. I do have a problem with those who espouse "The Surge".
