Schuster just smacked down Rudy G on Scab's show.
I like David Schuster more and more...Rudy tried to dismiss Bill Clinton by asking "Will they place him on early before prime time like they did to Warner?" And Schuster literally laughed out loud at him and said, "Yeah, as opposed to what they Republicans are doing to Bush and Cheney and putting them on late on the first night?" Rudy just stumbled, knowing he'd been slapped. It was minor fun, but it was fun nonetheless.

3. Maybe Clinton should have warned us about the pack of sorry
assed GOP trolls that lurk under the "Bridge to the 21st century!

2. Did you hear Mika right after Shuster said that about bush?
"OK, OK, let's move on..."

I guess she didn't want any reality to intrude on their little Obama-bashing session. I finally had to turn it off. Who wants to hear 4 1/2 Republicans criticizing Democrats at the Democratic convention? Will we see similar all-Democrat panels at St. Paul next week?

You know the answer to that one! "Of course not." Though Alan Combs is rumored to be the lead Democratic pundit.

7. maybe Mika thinks she is the peacemaker...
she uses that "let's move on..." line a lot.

Of course there were some fireworks earlier tween Shuster and Joe...

Joe Scarborough is having a childish meltdown directed toward David Shuster, he is losing it

And when Luke Russert was on in the last hour, he brought a white towel to throw down for a truce between Shuster and Joe.

Joe needs to be gone. Yesterday. I hope Phil Griffin is seriously considering it.

5. And At One Time Schuster Worked For Faux
Seems like he's gone through a David Brock type transformation...the Plame story seemed to have led to that transformation.

His smackdown session with Joey the other day was classic...and with the rise of Olbermann and Maddow, we're starting to see a transformation of many on that network. Tweety's even bashing the GOOP rather than spitting out their talking points these days. It helps when your network has seen big rises in ratings...including a very strong showing at this year's DNC.

I won't be watching any of the GOOP swillfest...my blood pressure won't tolerate all that bullshit and lying. But for those who are gluttons for punishment or need a good excuse to drink or toke, between Rudy's "noun, verb and 9/11" and Gramps "noun, verb and POW", the drinking games could become toxic.

8. They need to replace Joe and Mika with Shuster and Abrams

I like the "News You Can't Use" segments so I'll be fine if they keep Willie as a pet or house plant.
