I wonder how many times Bush has declared that we don't torture prisoners? I know I have heard it over and over. And sense I believe nothing that this govt. says I have to believe exactly the opposite. That we are quilty of plenty.
So now someone begins to questions why the prisoners at Guantanomo have been kept so far out of the limelight - because they were tortured? At the order of this President?
Just another straw loaded onto the camel's back. Will it be the one that finally brings this awful adm. down?

2. The good news is that "truth" seems to becoming fashionable again. |
|
I thought it might never happen.

5. Making truth fashionable might be trendy enough to flip some opinion. |
|
It will take time to educate those viewers who have grown up unable to tell the difference between truth and spin. Until the media refuses to allow 'alternate reality' on-air reporting (since many people don't read in depth analyses anymore) and focuses on the whole truth it's going to be slow going. Maybe serving on jury duty would help...you hear different sides of the same story, but you can only decide on the one that is true.

4. Clinton's sins seem pretty tame now, don't they? |
|
He merely had a thing with an unmarried woman - not much of a thing but sort of.
Bush has been responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people.
He has wasted billions and billions of dollars.
He has set back really important imporvements to preserve our environment.
He has started a war that could potentially cause a meltdown of the entire middle east.
He has been responsible for the loss of our First Amendment rights.
He has ordered the secret CIA rendition flights and torture.
He let New orleans just sink back into the sea.
Man, the list just does on and on.
