Babygate:

but now it's time for Milkgate!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_Palin#Matanuska_Maid_Dairy_closure

When the Alaska Creamery Board recommended closing Matanuska Maid Dairy, an unprofitable state-owned business, Palin objected, citing concern for the impact on dairy farmers and the fact that the dairy had just received $600,000 in state money. When Palin realized that the Board of Agriculture and Conservation appoints Creamery Board members, she simply replaced the entire membership of the Board of Agriculture and Conservation. The new board, led by businesswoman Kristan Cole, reversed the decision to close the dairy. The new board approved milk price increases offered by the dairy in an attempt to control fiscal losses, even though milk from Washington was already offered in Alaskan stores at lower prices. In the end, the dairy was forced to close, and the state tried to sell the assets to pay off its debts but received no bids.

Hey, Sarah! Got milk? :P

Wow that's a move that would make Chimpy proud.

Republicans are brain dead and unfit to lead a bus trip to Branson, Mo. much less the country, that's all there is to it.

5. Hmm . . . she replaces the board that won't do her bidding,
she fires the DPS because he woouldn't fire her brother-in-law. . .

I sense a pattern forming here.

Ripping a page from the Bush playbook.

6. Update: This has been folded into the Budget section of her Wiki entry!!

In a matter of hours!!

Go ahead. I dare you. Click the link in the OP, or this one:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_Palin#Matanuska_Maid_Dairy_closure

and see if it takes you anywhere but the top of the freshly sanitized Sarah Palin entry.

The content you need is still there, but harder to find because it's under the "Budget" subhead:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarah_Palin#Budget

When on June 6, 2007, the Alaska Creamery Board recommended closing Matanuska Maid Dairy, an unprofitable state-owned business, Palin objected, citing concern for the impact on dairy farmers and the fact that the dairy had just received $600,000 in state money. When Palin found out that the Board of Agriculture and Conservation appoints Creamery Board members, she replaced the entire membership of the Board of Agriculture and Conservation. (emphasis mine -Ed.) The new board reversed the decision to close the dairy, but later in 2007, with Palin's support, the unprofitable business was put up for sale. There were no offers in December 2007, when the minimum bid was set at $3.35 million, and the dairy was closed that month. In August 2008, the Anchorage plant was purchased for $1.5 million, the new minimum bid; the purchaser plans to convert it into heated storage units.

:wtf: :tinfoilhat:

Luckily for us, the RNC does not (yet) control the Google cache:

Enjoy!

7. Wow!
I looked her up last night after reading a post on DU and they had the cached page up. Not much information, probably because she hasn't done much. Now all of a sudden she is visiting wounded soldiers in Kuwait and Iraq? The Republican propaganda machine is working full time now!

10. it was awful that mess. The dairy is a pride of the state and essential
to the farmers in the valley. She messed it up. Its been sold but I don't know what is going to come of it. Very sad.
