A 5-lb'er is very tiny.
I have issues with the security procedures at OUR hospital and the sad truth is that there is a failure rate of the sensors.
I've walked off the unit with a sensor in my pocket, stayed gone 15-20 minutes and then triggered the alarms coming back into the unit.
Unfortunately, a kidnapper isn't going to give the sensors another chance to work.:shrug:
