I'm buying a big box of bandaids tomorrow. I will be using them as stickers to remind everyone what a "hero" McPOW is. I am tired of rolling over and playing dead every time one of them pulls out the good ole traitor/enemy label.

7. Damn...I Thought All Those Service Signs
...were for the waiters to bring another beer.

Now there was an article by the daughter of someone who knew him from his stay in "The Gardens"...where he spent most of his later captivity...and the place where he supposedly was offered his "freedom" (despite no other POW ever being released during the war).

10. Actually, he didn't have a number ...
Edited on Wed Sep-03-08 02:36 AM by NanceGreggs
Everyone just referred to him as THE POW, knowing that's how he would refer to himself for the rest of his natural life - over, and over, and over.
