MY PRESIDENT!
Sorry, but I am in one of my moods.I look at this country and how Bush has done SO MUCH harm since he 'took'office. It really does make me sad for the Clinton years. Every once in a while I have to look back at what we had. Thought I would add some pictures to remind us all what a REAL President looks like.

4. Even though Clinton had his flaws, at least he was a damned MAN.
He was the last president someone could actually be PROUD of. A man who went to a country and had throngs of smiling faces greeting him; among the people in his OWN country, citizens respected his methods and felt relatively safe and in a good mood.

Sigh.

And then there's the Crawford Caligula, at home:

And abroad:

It's a morale builder, is it not?

5. A nice montage. To have a dem in the white house again.
I do not like his wife but, I do miss Bill. I miss him being president. I wish Gore got to be after him and life would go on so much better.
Sad.
But, now I look forward to when our new president, Barack Obama, assumes his place in the White House and life will again be good like when Bill was there.

8. I miss the Big Dog!
True story.

A friend of mine who was a reporter for NPR a little time ago knew
another reporter in the 1980s in D.C. The other reporter was with
a friend @ the Dept. of Ag and told him that a young "hot shot" from Arkansas
was coming to the Dept. that day and could the Ag guy put the young punk
in his place ... so he wouldn't act like such a "know it all."

Well the Ag guy's area of expertise was the Pacific Rim trade & hog markets ....
So he asked the young Clinton what he thought about the issues.

Clinton off the top of his head spent 15 minutes about the Pacific Rim tradings
farm commodities, and U.S. hog products & markets in Asia and Australia.

Both the reporter and the Ag. guy looked at each other when he left and said that
boy will be President.

Clinton and very human too .... those same bastards who could not beat him so they impeached
him over nothing but now when that little shit who has been squatting illegally in the
White House lies to get us into a war will not do shit.

9. I bet that none of the people he's pictured with had to be told to dress down
(not show up in $3K three-piece suits) to appear as "normal, working-class folk" ...

10. I got to shake his hand in October
at a rally in Milwaukee. He spoke off the cuff for over an hour. He was brilliant, he was passionate, he was real, and we all just loved him. He was presidential. We deserve a real person, a real leader, a real man or woman in the White House.

He signed everything people asked him to sign, including a name tag on a coke can and he wasn't reaching for the Purel the whole time. This is a man who loves his country.
